What is the best material or wood for coffins?
Coffins can be made from a variety of woods and materials including pine, oak, mahogany, walnut, steel, bronze, and more. Neither is better than the other and the one you should choose simply depends upon personal preference and budget requirements.
Can coffins be cremated?
Yes, the coffins are cremated with the deceased. If opting for cremation, as more and more people are, the body, the coffin, and any items placed inside the coffin are all cremated together. There is no need for the body to be removed from the coffin following the funeral service.
How much does a coffin cost?
Coffin prices vary depending on the wood it is made from, the size, and the style of the coffin. On average, a standard coffin will cost between €1200 and €1500. We have a number of budget friendly options available as well as more expensive ranges too.
